03Performance
Making slow software fast.
I trace slowness along the whole path, from the server to what appears on screen, and fix the real cause. Some parts ended up as much as fifty times faster.

04AI and scale
Built to scale, with AI.
With AI, mainly Claude, I can fully automate building systems that hold up on very large projects. I set the design and the checks, and automation does the repetition.

This site was built that way: Claude wrote the Blender script for the model, the viewer and the CV, under my direction.

- Build 3D applications on Autodesk Viewer (Forge) for a digital construction planning platform.
- Work full stack across backend and frontend.
- Debug performance end to end and fix root causes, making some backend and frontend paths up to 50× faster.
- Improve the security of the application.
- Work on CI/CD and Kubernetes alongside feature development.
- Practise AI-assisted and AI-intensive development, mainly with Claude.

- Delivered services on the DubaiNow app in collaboration with Digital Dubai.
- Helped revamp the Council’s official website, improving service quality for customers and the business.
- Represented the Council at government and global events such as GITEX.

- Built features and fixed bugs in an agile team working on a SaaS application.
- Developed and maintained REST API services with Spring Boot.
- Migrated CI to a new Jenkins instance and set up Kubernetes build pods.
- Added unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
- Worked in C++ with in-house build tools and libraries (mxbuild).
- Took part in all scrum ceremonies, coordinated dependencies between teams, and split features into stories and tasks.
